William G. Houston Middle School is proud to recognize our Citizens of the Month for October and November. These students were selected for their positive attitudes, strong character, and the way they represent our school community each day.

October 2025

6th Grade – Ashlyn Jennings
Ashlyn is a member of Team Evolution. She enjoys all subjects and spends her time reading, playing sports, and being with friends. She hopes to become an artist or pet sitter. Ashlyn’s favorite thing in the world is her family, and she believes that being organized and punctual is the key to success.

7th Grade – Robert “Robby” Hummel
Robby is part of Team Gemini. His favorite subject is Math, and he enjoys playing hockey. He hopes to continue playing on a more competitive team and pursue college. Robby’s favorite things are hockey and spending time with friends. He believes that success comes from being kind and staying aware of the world around you.

8th Grade – Arihanna Faraci
Arihanna is also on Team Gemini. She loves Science and plays basketball. She hopes to become a veterinarian in the future. Her favorite thing is when people are kind to one another, and she believes that believing in yourself is essential for success.

November 2025

6th Grade – Omarion “Omar” Evans
Omar is on Team Unity. His favorite subject is Technology, and he enjoys working with model trains. He plans to become an engineer. His favorite thing in the world is trains, and he believes that kindness is the most important trait for continued success.

7th Grade – Madyson “Mady” Kassman
Mady is on Team Phoenix. She enjoys Math and plays volleyball and softball. She hopes to work with animals in the future. Her favorite thing is her animals, and she believes that staying focused is the key to success.

8th Grade – Bryson Sortisio
Bryson is on Team Tradition. His favorite subject is Math, and he enjoys playing sports. He hopes to work with his dad in the Town of Hamburg someday. His favorite thing in the world is his family, and he believes that respect is the most important trait for success.
