Seventh Grade Tree of Warmth Drive Supports Operation Good Neighbor

The seventh grade class at William G. Houston Middle School recently sponsored a Tree of Warmth clothing and care items drive to support Operation Good Neighbor.
Students collected essential winter clothing and personal care items, then helped load a car full of donations for delivery to the community organization. The drive was a hands on effort led by students and supported by families and staff.
Pictured during the delivery are Kylee Milks, Melody Bednarz, Penelope Schmidle, and Melanie Wallace. The project was coordinated by seventh grade class advisor Christopher Piede.
The Tree of Warmth drive reflects the school’s ongoing focus on service, empathy, and community connection. Students saw firsthand how small actions can make a real difference for others.
