Lake Shore students are once again leading with gratitude.

The William G. Houston Middle School Civics Club is expanding its Veterans Memorial Wall—a lasting tribute in the school’s Sculpture Garden that honors service members connected to our community.

On Monday, November 10, at 2:00 PM, students will host a Wreath-Laying Ceremony to recognize veterans from Angola, Brant, Derby, Evans, Farnham, Irving, and the Seneca Nation. The ceremony celebrates student leadership, civic engagement, and community pride.

Families are invited to help the tribute grow by submitting names of local veterans for future inclusion on the memorial wall.
